Paul Ryder (Life Coach)

Paul Ryder is the Emotional Intelligence coach at City Therapy and has been a coach and personal trainer for over 10 years. Paul has been with City therapy now for just over 2 year supporting our clients on a one to one basis in the clinic with problems with: self esteem, confidence, anger issues, depression, relationships and inner peace.

Paul also runs several accredited training courses in our training department, courses such as Level 3 life coaching diploma, Level 4 Emotional Intelligence coaching diploma and “Run your own stress management consultancy” to help students set up their own practice and help others.

As successful author and public speaker, Paul is reaching out to his goal of supporting the education system with emotional intelligence. Paul self tests all of the techniques he uses and has advanced to create his own theories and models.
Paul originally started the path of personal development for his own health. After suffering from a background of abuse and bullying which resulted in extremely low self esteem and de-motivated, negative thoughts, he was on a downwards spiral which resulted in times of total terror just to walk out of the house.

Paul has used all of the methods which he now teaches to bring himself from a place of fear and worry to the confidence to live a happy and fulfilling life, travel round the world, and give seminars on self expression to large audiences.

2010 Is a big year for Paul as three of his main goals are

1. To write our Emotional intelligence advanced course covering all areas of physiology and emotional health

2. To publish his next book titled “Phantom and the child” Remembering the forgotten, covering a scientific path through the flow of self esteem looking at how and why it happens from childhood and how to understand the fear which stop people moving forward.

3.To cycle John O’groats to Lands end for charity. This challenge is to cycle the entire length of the UK in under 14 days, a distance of approximately 950 miles

Personal quote

"Life is to be lived, but make no assumptions that the dreams and desires of the mind can be forced, the limiting beliefs must be understood and worked through and then success will fall at the feet of those who walk the path. It is humbling to know that we are all equal and only as important as the next person, but it is reassuring that the information the great speakers of time have written over the years on personal development is extremely powerful and can lead us to inner peace.

I have experienced what life is like in the dark and can’t say I enjoyed it very much, now life is an amazing adventure everyday and I never imagined it would be this enjoyable and enriching!
Life is just what happens to us! We are all corks in the ocean; there is a time to rest and a time to work hard. Do not allow yourself or your pain to gain you unwanted attention, there will be enough people in the world who will feel sorry for and dramatise those who may not be at their full potential as they love nothing more than stroking their ego by being the rescuer. You are a human being and deserve the freedom of seeing who you really are and enjoying self expression.... life is to be lived!
I wish you all the best on your journey
